The power of the right now is vast. When you get a taste of it you will never be able to go back to your obsolete way of thinking and being. Teach yourself how to be in the present; how to be happy in this moment. Your life is going to transform from “just an experience” into an “extraordinary experience”.

This has nothing to do with either optimism or pessimism. This is a matter of acknowledgement and acceptance of the nature of impermanence. Nothing is permanent but change.

We are not our thoughts. We are the identification of ourselves with them. We are their observers. As an observer we can’t be affected by them. The more mindful we grow, the more detached we become from our own thoughts.

A lion doesn’t struggle to become a lion. It doesn’t plan on how to be a lion. It is a lion from the very first moment of its life. We, humans, as a species are constantly struggling to be something else and forget what it means to just be our true, most authentic self; a human.

Conscious effort is mandatory for someone to cultivate the state of mindfulness, until this state has become the only available state of being.

The past is gone. The future hasn’t come yet. They are your mind’s creation; an illusion. Choose the now which is the sole authentic moment.
Mindfulness is not just an awesome practice, it is an amazing state of being as well. It helps us connect with the present moment, where it all happens. Each moment is brand new place where we have never been and we will never be again, thus we have to commit our whole being to it in order to live life to the fullest.
